I'm getting really bad at this :S I haven't even uploaded pictures of the costume! Man.. I AM bad at this. I will definitley be doing that once I get back on the net& on a computer that I can upload with (*hint hint mom& dad!) Haha

I haven't been doing much drawing lately, and I feel a lil rough around the edges because of that. But tha will soon change, no question about it.

Halloween is right around the corner..again.. I'm sticking to the comicbook theme and going to tackle Zatanna, the Mistress of Magic of the DC Universe. Boo ya.. I've got all my pieces bought or at least picked out, so, I may be putting up 2 sets of costume pictures soon enough

Yup, It certainly has been..a while that is... well, I've been keeping busy drawing& working on my tattoo designs lately.. And since Halloween is right around the corner I'm working on piecing together a Poison Ivy costume..I have everything bought, just gotta put it all together.. I'm going to *attempt* sewing the fake leaves on a body-shaper thing I picked up from walmart..it's dress-length so I can just wear taht and be moderatly covered.. I don;t think I'm going to go for he green tights tho.. not my cup of tea. Mom gave me a pair of shoes that I'm going to spray paint green & gold.. I think they'll look cute.

This is a sad time for us in the Comic world, I had recieved a text from my lil sis that our favorite artist, Michael Turner, creator of Fathom& Aspen Comics has passed away on June 27th.. The cancer he had for years had finally took its toll on him& he passed away in the Santa Monica Hospital in California.. He will be forver missed& I will cherish anything that I have taht was created by him.

He was my hero, my inspriation.. He always created amazing works& images of beautiful people that I've always strived to match. I've never met him before, but I always wanted too.

*sigh- so the day has come that the rabbit has felt the urge to jump out of his tank..and he did it successfully in the wee morning hours while we were still sleeping. But not to worry- he's a tough lil b@$tard. he jumped from his feeding tank out and onto his food bag (that was located right on the outside of the tank),hopped to the table and down to the floor. its actually not the 1st time i found him down there, hopping around the floor like nothing happened.
So jay and i are going to be going to Pets Unlimited very soon and looking into getting a cage for him. Poor guy, i'm sure he'll feel the difference from the tanks to a cage (when i get a pic uploaded on his current set up you'll know what i mean ) the one we were looking at is over $300- it has like 3 levels, buti ts also a ferret cage (we're planning on getting some after the rabbit, but i dunno now). we might have to settle on getting just a regular cage..ah well.

first of all, i would like to apologize to everyone who browses my gallery for the crappy quality of my scanner..hopefully someday i'll be able to get a new one..

i've been trying to keep busy with people's ideas for tattoos and the like- its hard to find the time tho- i ean, i would love nothing more than to draw all day and be able to live off of it, you know? but for now, i am working at a call center that has very strict rules about paper and pens(or pencils)- meaning NONE..but my sups are pretty cool b/c they know me, that i'm not going to copy confidential info or anything, they know i'm a drawer.
thank god fo rthe new sketchbooks my sis gave me for xmas b/c without them i'd be so behind in requests..i am relieved about that, thank you Sam.

so it snowed like a b*tch out there all day& now its windier than, well, some place really windy..i think it's going to be an easy weekend of minimal traveling; maybe take the dogs out and play in the snow& test the new digital cam and of course, it should give me an oppertunity to work on requests (when we're not too busy watching Smallville, that is, lol)
